How did I start this journey?? Who am I?
Hi! I am Cami, a professional photographer for 25+ years, and also a BFA. I am from Colombia and moved to the US 11 years ago. I was in a very deep depression back then, chronically ill, and so incredibly disconnected from my entire being. I had been molding myself to fit into so many places that I forgot ME. After a couple of years or so of living here in Colorado, I got into a female photo group and started to make friends and connections and so I felt like it was time to do something about ME. When I first heard in the group of doing a boudoir shoot “just to celebrate myself”, I thought "WHAT does that even mean?" But I knew I needed something to stir me up. To help me FEEL me again. To make me feel beautiful and grateful for my body and my Soul. And thinking of doing a Boudoir photoshoot just for myself felt really edgy and weird. Which is what I knew I needed to show up FOR ME.
The 2 photos below were my first ever Boudoir photoshoot!! With the Incredible Sharee Davenport, I am forever grateful for this portal that opened a whole new world for me!
The Alchemy
So I did the first one, and then the second, and now I've done so many! Because in these shoots... I came home to me. I remembered my power. I began to remember who tf I am. Without my friends. Without my family, my partner, without existing in the country I was born and raised in. I remembered myself in a different way... in a BIGGER, very LUMINOUS way I had not been allowed to (by myself) in a really long time. In this space it was just me, myself, and God. And obviously the INCREDIBLE photographers that held the space so safely for me to feel like I could exist in my body and soul expression without the shame, guilt and judgement that I was used to.
I got to play with my vulnerable, raw side, that diva, that goddess, that nurturer, that FREE, sovereign, Masterpiece, powerhouse woman.
This was taken on my second Boudoir photoshoot ever, by the magical, ah-mazing, beautiful human and one of my closest friends, Kyla Jean. This was the first time I ever saw myself embodied as a grown woman, owning that my body has expanded, matured. So beautiful and so grateful for this photoshoot!!
Then I started photographing myself a lot more, giving myself that unconditional space as well. Reconnecting to me. Wholy.
I started to invest in my wellbeing and my growth. From 2021 I've gotten certified as Angelic Spiritual Coach, Holy Fire® World Peace Reiki Master, Women's Guidance Facilitator & Shamanic Celtic Apprentice Level 1, which has led me to learn about feminine embodiment, somatic work and other modalities that I now combine and use within my photoshoots.
All it took was that first bold move to do that first boudoir shoot, and then the second. To start to bet on myself. To invest in myself. To learn me again.
As I gained confidence in front of the camera, as I understood myself more, my life started to change. I started to magnetize soul aligned opportunities, people and experiences that have shifted my life for the better. My photos became portals of expansion, pleasure, healing and amplifying my energy to attract my dream life. Some years later, the result is... I am getting divorced after 16 years with my partner (in the most balanced, grounded, loving way, may I add, I couldn't ask for a better human/experience going through something so painful), moving to another state, and finding my powerful voice again which I had been hiding for so long. Photographing myself, being photographed in safety and combining this with deep self work spiritually, physically, emotionally and in all the ways, has shifted my life to the direction I feel my Soul is here for. To do God's work.
This is what I do for other women since 2020. I reflect them through photos in a curated container space where they feel safe, seen, heard, loved, nourished, amplified in pleasure. In joy. In Luminous self love. So that their photos will support, ripple and magnetize what is needed for their divine missions to be carried out (money, resources, support, clients, etc). This is what the Sensual Alchemy Portraits are. Magnetic Portals for your dream life, biz, relationships, etc.
I’ve witnessed my clients quit unfulfilling jobs to build thriving businesses that they LOVE. Leave their partners and toxic patterns which healed their bodies, minds and souls and they are living their dream life now. I’ve seen them move across the country to reclaim their sovereignty, following their intuition and heart.
I know this work is powerful. Not only my clients are proof, I have been there. I have experienced the thresholds, the uncertainty, the fear, the exhaustion of not being true to myself and living my life by the expectations of others. When you become your own source of power, external circumstances lose their grip.
You trust yourself deeply, and from that inner trust, the resources, opportunities, and support you need, begin to flow.

I've suffered with body image issues for quite a while and she does such a great job making you feel like a Goddess. Like every woman should feel. (Cheeky photos not shown, but still love. And she made me feel comfortable doing those ones!! )
These pictures represent a time in my life where I'm saying fuck the norm. I'm celebrating what my body can DO for me, not what it is supposed to look like. I am thankful that I am able to strength train and build muscle, I am thankful I can run, hike, stretch, do yoga.
Also if anyone ever tells you you need to lose weight, they are the weight you need to lose."
